Cafe Rio Mexican Grill - Irvine

I've been coming to the café rio for 8 years. I love getting the veggie burrito with black beans and reis enchilada style.) eating and service here is exceptional, therefore I am a faithful customer.

Good food. good people. we had a random person who paid us on the taco Tuesday, so it was clutch. God's good.

Always clean, and the personal is friendly. eat wise, we usually go with the nachos. they offer the usually Mexican cheese mix that they can melt, but their specificity is their cheese sauce. toppings wise, make it after their desire. personally we like the green luke chile sauce, acidic sawn and guak. oh, and the Cotija cheese. get them the cheese sauce. I'll shake my head.

There are many ways to build the items themselves, the selection of burritos, tacos, enchiladas, salats, tostadas, quesadillas and nachos. beside rice, bucamole and queso there are four stages of the soße heat: mild, medium, hot, even hot.

I don’t understand all the vitriol toward my beloved Cafe Rio. Is it true that there is one employee here that holds up lines at the register? Maybe. Is it also true that Cafe Rio makes the best mixes of lettuce, beans, rice, salsa, guacamole and tortillas? Resounding yes. Order ahead. Out of the many, many times I have ordered ahead, there has been literally ONE time when my order wasn’t ready ahead of time. And it’s always excellent. Get the sweet peak quesadilla. Mmmmmm.
