Breakfast Republic - Irvine

We went on a Saturday around noon for a morning date. We didn?t wait too long since it was just my husband and I and we sat at the bar. If we wanted a table it would have been a 20 min wait. Honestly, only one staff was friendly, a young African American chick at the bar. We even asked her why she was the only one in the entire establishment who smiled at anyone. The food was great, I got a strawberry screwdriver and it was great as well. The only complaint was the staff was not friendly. They walked in our way several times and wouldn?t even apologize or show remorse for walking in front of us. Our waiter, a young Asian man, at the bar was not friendly at all and made it seem like it was a burden to ask for items on the menu.

Definitely recommend!! Loved our brunch there! We had a large group and the service was fantastic! They accommodated my egg allergy and even made a recommendation to go to a burrito bowl instead of the assembled burrito so it was less messy and it was perfect! Enjoyed their Jurrasic **** Mary and California Burrito as a bowl and tortilla on the side. Fun decor and music and was a great brunch atmosphere! Seating options indoor, outdoor, and at the bar.

First time visiting...staff very friendly. Short wait. Lively atmosphere. Cool decor! Food was delicious! Reasonably priced! Would definitely eat here again.

Great breakfast place with amazing vegan options but long waits and mediocre service. We had to wait for over 20 minutes even though they had plenty of seating. I would go back but only because they had an amazing vegan skillet. Their breakfast potatoes were incredible as well. They have their own homemade ketchup which isn?t as good as Heinz but A for effort. Everyone loved their breakfasts especially the brioche French toast. Will definitely try and get back here.

When we got here at 9 a.m. (Saturday), the line started forming. We waited about 15 minutes then got seated in one of the smaller tables for a party of two. Our waitress was friendly, attentive and accommodating. I ordered scrambled eggs with ham and a side of veggies and whole wheat toast. It was quite filling and delicious. I would come back here again.
