101 Noodle Express - Irvine

The beef roll is fantastic, the shrimp dumplings are decent, but the pineapple fried rice is not up to par. They only accept cash or Venmo as payment.

This is a great spot to savor genuine Chinese cuisine. Despite being very busy, the staff made sure we were well looked after. They were thorough in explaining each dish as we ordered. Remember to bring cash as credit cards are not accepted at this restaurant.

We had a fantastic bowl of oxtail cut noodle soup on a chilly evening. The broth was delicious with a distinct beefy flavor. It was our first visit to this restaurant and we will definitely return.

I really enjoy a good boba drink, and Tapioca Express serves some of the best traditional milk tea with tapioca balls - it's really delicious. It can get pricey if you opt for additional toppings, but it's worth it for a unique experience.
