Spiro's Downtown - Iron Mountain

I tried the Polenta Shrimp for the 1st time, and absolutely loved it.

I thought I was going to be out of town and have a great meal....so disappointed......I had the half sandwich soup with the sandwich of the day... half mushroom sandwich....was more like a quarter....no flavor...even the balsamic had no flavor....mushrooms were scarce no flavor.She Charged an extra 2.00 for French onion soup but didn't tell me....i would of paid it but not after I seen the size...small soup cup 2/3 full...soup was oddly sweet and over salty....then I had coffee and carrot cake...coffee was great....carrot cake was batter no sugar or spice or anything in but gobs of shredded carrots...frosting was barely anything but a bit of flavor there.$25.00 dollars and wouldn't recommend..Service was great...but told her about cake said I'd doctor it up at home..she did nothing about it..Wish I would of taken a photo....

Enjoyed the food, great flavor! Loved the pesto, asiago,balsamic french fry appetizer!

What a nice surprise downtown! Great service very detailed decor and one of the best steaks in a long time!You won't go wrong here.

Cozy atmosphere and great food. French Onion soup was a great choice. Our waiter was well informed about the menu and was able to provide options to help respect our dietary needs. I would have no problem recommending this restaurant. Many good sandwich choices on the menu. We have been there many times, will continue to eat there on a regular basis.
