East Bay Deli Broad River - Irmo

Eating at this place is not good. it is not aromatic. the grill sink and cheese sandwich with texas toast is always overcooked(burned) who want to taste with their sandwich burned brot? it's a terrible taste. the reuben sandwich is always wet on the floor. I'm not gonna eat here again. many employees stand around and nobody knows how to make a simple sandwich right.

The food was excellent. Despite being quite busy, the service was quick.

I always order the all-you-can-eat salad bar, and the bowl is so large that I rarely need to go back for a second trip. The staff is fantastic and friendly, and the food is usually fresh while the restaurant remains clean. There are just two downsides: the air conditioning can be quite strong and it can get cold (there's also outdoor seating), and Fox News is typically playing on one of the TVs. It's frustrating to eat while being bombarded with messages that make me feel evil and un-American. To be fair, there are three TVs, and usually only one shows Fox News, but recently I learned that there’s a "portal to hell" above the White House, which adds to the experience in a bizarre way.

What a delightful surprise! We were on our way and decided to stop in Irmo. We both ordered the grilled hühnergyro, and it was fantastic. We'll definitely keep this place as a new stop on our travels!

My wife and I stopped in for a quick bite after doing some shopping, we both ordered a philly cheese steak sandwich and a basket of fries. the deli was not busy at all 2-3 other customers and 5-7 employees, fries came out cold and sandwiches had zero flavor. Will never go back....For $31.00 i would expect better quality food totally mis-managed restaurant.
