This place is fantastic, migrated by the tourist opposite, because it was too busy. my waiter was one of the best I met in Greece, if not europa, very nice guy, cite because he feels more like a friend who brings me to eat. seems family run, he mentioned his mother had made the stuffed grape leaves, where small and tight wrapped and the best I ever had. this is the type of local culinary experience that occasionally they get only happiness and pass in. I will return tomorrow.

Nice place with friendly staff, good food and fair prices. Should def be rated better than it is!

If you wonder where to go to eat where the locals are eating, search no more: this is the place that you're looking for. Do not expect any fancy table clothes or glass but the food is genuinely good. I ate that big fried fish plate and it was really good and cheap (15 euro).

They stretch a little from the tourist road and they can find these local taverna diners. there was only one group of older natives who were eating when we came in and got out that it would be a Jewel, and wow. we were 3 days in heraklion and we went back 3 times. fresh seafood deliciously cooked, entertaining owners spiros, and to finish the complementary raki. local prices, real eating.

The best place in heraklion. family business traditional kreta restaurant. with very good service. fresh products and a beautiful atmosphere.
