Taverna Mezedofolia - Irakleion

We had a wonderful dinner at Mezedofolia! The people were very friendly and created a nice atmosphere. The restaurant is nicely decorated and the artwork is also nice. The food was very tasty, we were surprised by the price. It’s cozy to share some Greek specialities. We would gladly pay more for it. We would love to come back!

We were looking for place where can have lunch and we were so lucky that found that restaurant. We had a nice table outside but in shadow so It was really joyful experience. Food was delicious, owner was really friendly, we had a chat about her art work. You can find her paintings (there is small art gallery inside). Highly recommend that place for lunch or dinner, you won’t regret it.

Excellent place for food and a great time! We actually visited here twice during our week long trip in Crete as we enjoyed it so much! Delicious food, very friendly hosts ands interesting art work to look at while you wait! Family business that shouldn’t be missed!! A true gem in Crete, away from the sea front restaurants(which are all very similar) and a must visit!

We had a very good evening here. super friendly people and eating is very delicious. also the cocktails they make are nice. would go back there because it is not expensive!
