El Rancho - Iquitos

Booked table for 20 hours ago (18.00 hours), came to the table set, ready to order, staff, where friendly and helpful (Spanish speaking), food was perfect. TV without sound to catch Olympic highlights. Music calm... perfect evening to finish Iquitos.

There are many chicken restaurants in Iquitos. El Rancho has consistent quality and good taste! Good value.

A good place for pollen a la brass with chauffeur and some juice. It is cleaned and decent... they have an air-conditioned room. Probably the best of the surrounding chicken spots on the adjacent corners of the road.

It's about 11 soles for the chicken dinner here. The best roasted chicken I had while in Peru (except for Pardo's Chicken in Lima). Only a couple of blocks from the main square.

As with many places in Iquitos, this is a Polleria the have many menu Items but they specialize in chicken Fries
