Cafe Giardino - Ipswich

This experience was absolutely terrible. I paid 2.75 for an avocado that was as hard as a rock and the butter did not look appetizing either. They claimed the butter was from a farm, but it was disappointing.

I was very disappointed with this cafe. I was charged extra for oat milk in my coffee and there were no plant-based snacks available on the menu. As a vegan, I found the staff to be dismissive when I inquired about vegan options. They claimed that serving vegan food would require separate preparation, but I suggested offering pre-wrapped plant-based snacks instead. The staff member replied that the cost would be too high for them to make a profit, which I found frustrating as I believe it should be the customer's choice. I will not be returning to this cafe and predict that they will go out of business soon if they continue to neglect offering plant-based options. This is the first establishment I have encountered that does not provide plant-based choices, which speaks volumes about their priorities.

I would recommend avoiding this restaurant. From the moment we arrived, the staff seemed unwelcoming and abrupt. They charged for each item individually, and the food quality was below average with poor hygiene standards. The staff gave off the impression that they didn't want us there and failed to provide any kind of friendly service. I purchased a jacket potato and a coffee, but I would not consider returning to this place, ever.

Was really disappointed found 2 pieces of hair in my food, midway through eating it and then I gave it to an employee he was really nice and offered me a full refund. I know this was an honest mistake and just wanted to come here and say this happened to me.

Please train your stuff. This is not a flat white. Also it was boiling hot.
