Maiale Japanese Style Italian - Ipoh

We were the first customer on 22/12/2017. we read the reviews and had to taste this restaurant. we were not disappointed. (although they didn't have their homemade pasta and we could only get spaghetti nr. 5.) the service and the presentation is almost fine-dining, but the deco is bistro style and very japanic, but not luxurious (there is not fine-dining there are many sweet swarms around the place. the eating was either above average or excellent. they also seem to have a decent choice of wine, but we don't drink. we had scallop mentaiko creme pasta, sakura pork bacon fresh tomaten pasta, sakura pork belly with senf sauce and grilled sakura pork with scamorza cheese. the wagyu bark was a bit too expensive for us to dinate as a family. we've done everything! I think they doubted that we can end everything they suggested we can take the left away. the best part? we spent only 80 sgd$ total, as far as fine eating is a total steal! when I go back to ipoh, I come back here definitiw! and this time I would try the wagyu.

Every time I'm back in ipoh, I'm sure I'm going to eat or two. a small house that is flew by a young couple. the Nabeby/Koch is Japanese, while the sweet woman comes from the good old ipoh. our favorites are the sakura pork bacon with fresh tomaten pasta and the mentaiko scallop pasta. also loved the appetizer plate and the desserts. simply delicious!

Beautiful ambience with comfortable lighting filled with warmth and welcoming feeling. The 3 course for dinner. Served with free soft bread with butter or balsamico vinaigrette. Appetizer with 9 items is carefully manufactured, the product is completed. Everyone is very tasty. This plate is pretty full. All 4 main dishes are exceptionally tasteful, especially brewed wagyu brisket in demi glaze, slowly boiled Sakura pork belly charcuterie sauce, and scallop mentaiko cream handmade fatuccine. There are a variety of desserts, but we prefer the signature tiramisu. Overall, the food is nice and will come back.

The menu is interesting and perfect... Something for everyone. The food was absolutely wonderful from preparation to presentation. We especially enjoy the surroundings of the ambience. The service was great by Mrs Zeeann.
