I love Matt and Phred’s so much! It’s easily the home of jazz in Manchester, and it does justice to that reputation! The venue is quite large for a jazz club, but sometimes it can really fill up and feel like quite an energetic, upbeat atmosphere. I’ve never had the staff be anything but kind and outgoing with me, and it’s always a pleasure to go here. I highly recommend their jam nights on Mondays. I attended the jazz jam, and it was a very welcoming group of musicians and audience. Great experience! Cocktails are well-made too! I love the happy hour deals they run every week day. Highly highly recommend

Found this place online, so we thought we would check it out whilst visiting Manchester. Went for happy hour. Buy 2 drinks and get a free pizza. It was fantastic value for money, the pizza was really nice too. The staff were lovely and the music amazing.

Love the energy of the live band, fabulous music, great environment to relax and enjoy ourselves in the cozy atmosphere at Matt Phreds Jazz Club, definitely worth a visit to be here, and I am glad we've chosen to get to this place instead.
