Hardee's - Iowa

My wife and I were on a tour through the South Bus Tour with 43 of us and our first Supper was here in this beautiful establishment. The appetizers were great, the first course was a spring salad and a cup of crabs, corn and potato soup. Yummy. Next we had pork onions, black drum, potatoes with vegetable medal. Our dessert was a bread pudding with a rum based on topping. Phenomenal meal with an excellent waiting staff, including a bar. We both had a glass of Cabernet sauvignon wine to finish the evening of our private dinner party.

I stopped here about 4 to 8 times a month. This hardee is the best. The burgers are always hot. The vegetables are always fresh and my order never lasts more than one minute or two. I wish all fast foods were like that.

My food was good. Husband didn't like his (Chili dog). But only his taste. The staff was very friendly and committed. 425. The food was hot and fresh. Lots of mustard on the chili dog. Burger was good. Fries were stale and warm. It tasted like they were already out. Yeah.

They didn't have the chicken biscuit for number one. They did it for me, but when other customers came, they said they were out. But the chicken biscuit with butter was delicious

Upon ordering in the drive through I was told they are only taking cash because the card reader is down. I was told I could come in and pay with a card. When I arrived to the window to pay I gave a twenty. When i was handed my change I was informed they didn't have coins either in the drive through and handed my food and the the teller walked away. I got mad and returned my food and received my twenty back. This same credit card thing happened 2 weeks ago. I will not be returning to this Hardee's. Instead, I will go across the street to Burger King or Arby's. And that's too bad. I drive a big truck in the area and use this Loves for fuel as well. I am considering getting my fuel across the street as well.
