Tiki Tacos 'n Burgers 'n Wings

Discombobulated cornucopia of randomness. This restuarant needs to pick a lane but I guess I should have known that from the name.Anyway, the food is bad and way over-priced. I got tacos, a side, and a margarita in exchange for THIRTY dollars. That doesn 't even count the tip!! The crazy part is that I was expecting to pay $10 but the deal doesn 't start till later. I strongly discourage going to Tiki Tacos 'n Burgers 'n Wings 'n Fries 'n Mac 'n Cheese 'n Chips 'n Salsa 'n Salads 'n Drinks 'n Margaritas.

I had the absolute pleasure of dining here with Libby as my server. She made sure everything was perfect at every single point throughout our dining experience. Unfortunately, someone bumped into her as she was clearing plates we were done with off of our table but she handled it like an absolute champion. Makes me so happy to know iowa city has such spectacular people making sure their restaurants are kept up to par.

Stopped in on Saturday night 8/13. and we grabbed a seat right away. Put an order in for chips and queso and they were out to our table pretty quick. Chips were fresh, but queso was real watery to the point it almost wouldn’t stay on chip. I would try another option besides queso next time.We ordered the steak, beef and pork taco plates with beans and rice for three of us. They arrived and were good. Portion sizes were big so each of us only ate 2 of 3 tacos, so we packed up the leftovers to head home.Friendly and attentive waitstaff as well.

Had such a fun experience at Tiki Taco! They were busy the night we stopped in, but Rachel took great care of us and made awesome suggestions. Food and drinks are amazing, it's worth getting the flight so you can try all their specialty blended drinks; one flight was enough for the two of us to share, unless you're really trying to party. The slightly spicy shrimp tacos definitely had a kick to them. We'll be back!

I don't usually leave reviews as a chef I always expect to be disappointed especially since good food is extremely hard to find in Iowa. Went here last Monday and tacos a la cart and they were all amazing as was my pain killer!!! We had finally found a great spot. Went back today, and my drink was absolutely terrible, but I guess I shouldn't have complained though, cus when we finally got our tacos, mine looked terrible and my boyfriends looked amazing!!!! I ordered mine without roasted veggies or queso, but what I got was only meat and queso, completely charred meat and only about 4-5 chunks per tacos, which I turned into one, which tasted terrible. I know better than to complain before my food comes though.Also last week the Brussels were sliced and absolutely amazing, today they were just cut in half but still pretty good. That extra work on the slicing just makes ?Will be back in hopes that if we come on a Monday it'll be just as good as the first time we tried it. The manager needs an attitude check though and some training.
