Pizza Ranch - Iowa City

I went today and there was not a lot of food, just salad and vegetables. Only 3 chickens, burn potatoes and 2 trays of pizza and cheese sticks. I come here to eat and pay the price for my plate for $16. Little Kids touching everything and no parent supervision, I understand is not the employees responsibility, but at least say something! Kids didn’t have shoes and touching their feet and then going to play with the ice cream machine!!! The Mac and cheese was hard, bronco thin pizza burn and the chicken was so greasy and the skin was also burn. Dirty tables, I had to clean my own table and chairs since no one was around.I would never come back, this place has gone down hill.

We usually like Pizza Ranch, and visit Muscatine, Washington, and Iowa city, Iowa locations. Tonight my wife and I ate in Iowa city and was not a good experience. The chicken tasted like the grease was old, we had a stack of 6 plates on our table and not once did anyone come and clear our plates, and the they let the ice cream machine run out. I waited for someone to come out so I could tell them, but no one came out. My wife finally told the cashier and as we were leaving someone was filling the ice cream machine. I do not plan on going back to the Iowa city location again.

We got there at 3:45 on a Monday. I would say 90% of the tables had dirty dishes on them and the whole time we were there not one employee came around to clean any table. We ordered a couple pizzas and after 20 minutes went to see if they were done and both were just sitting on the counter. Majority of food on buffet was empty or nearly empty and I only saw them set out new breadsticks and 1 new pizza. If there was any manager on duty, they should be FIRED. This is the 2nd time we have come here after an appointment at the VA. We definitely won't be coming back

Went to pizza ranch and counted 10 tables not cleaned or picked up. I've always loved pizza ranch and so have my kids but this time it was just me and my husband. There were kids running around the whole restaurant screaming and no one saying anything, saw 2 people refilling the food, but no one came out to clear tables. The poor cashier was running back and forth by himself running the cash register and putting food out, only saw the other workers putting out pizza. Only saw one time that fresh pizza was put out, my husband wanted different pizza but knew that it had been sitting in there for awhile. I get that you may be short staffed, as we are all going through it, but maybe close your doors until staffing issues are fixed. It was dirty, kids were running around screaming, and the food wasn't fresh. That is going to turn away quite a few people. I have a pizza ranch closer to me, so finding another one is not a problem, but not all people have that luck.

We had my son's birthday on Pizza Ranch and I can't say enough about how good the staff was there. A special cry to Alex who was the best host to make our guys so special. Alex needs a huge, huge, huge raise and many tips or whatever he likes. Absolutely amazing service and care. Great place to hang up and throw food or a party.
