Blackstone - Iowa City

My husband and I Ioved this place. We went for our anniversary dinner. Our server Brandon was quick and super friendly, the food was incredible, and the atmosphere was on point. We will be back again for sure.

Went for the first time today and had their Sunday brunch. Delicious! Servers were continually bringing out fresh food instead of filling large containers to sit for hours. The mac cheese was amazing and I loved the salad. Best part was the creme brulee for dessert. Our server Alissa was friendly, attentive, and fun. We will definitely be back!

I have received consistently good service and quality food over the years. As a beer geek, I have to acknowledge their beer selection and special beer events. Overall, one of my favorite restaurants in the area.

Give Brianna a raise, employee of the year or something! I have an odd, but severe allergy and she literally saved my life tonight! Didn't mention my allergy when ordering our appetizer, because it wasn't something I have ever seen in that type of food. I happened to mention it when ordering the main course to make sure and she was skilled enough to know your menu. She promptly went back to the kitchen to modify our appetizer and make it safe for me. What could have turned in to a horrific unexpected bad night turned in to an amazing meal with a staff member who is representing your restaurant at a top notch level! Seriously she deserves a raise! -An extremely happy to still be breathing customer.
