The Millstone - Iola

The restaurant has a lot to offer. This time, we ordered pizza, and it was delicious. The atmosphere in the mill dining room is fantastic, especially if you can snag a table by the lake. The breeze added a nice touch to our experience. Be sure to try the espresso shake next; everything with espresso is a must-try!

I absolutely love this place! The gelato is fantastic and they offer a variety of unique flavors that change frequently. You can enjoy your treat while sitting in the charming old mill with a beautiful view of the lake. The atmosphere is delightful and it's so relaxing to sit there and savor your favorite flavors.

Friday evenings in the summer feature delicious homemade pizzas and live music from local artists. This place is definitely worth a visit!

There are always new and interesting aromas of Gelato in the mill. I have visited many occasions and found aromas such as Mint Julep, Turmeric Ginger, Hazelnut Mocha, Mandarin Orange, Figures and Dates, Taro Root, Texas Mango and Moscow Mule just to name a few. My husband and I always enjoy our visits to the rustic charm of this rebuilt mill. The outside seats are beautiful on days with good weather.

We drive out of our way to visit the Millstone whenever we are even remotely near Iola Mills. Such a cool old building, drenched in history and ambiance and their food, gelato and Italian Sodas are amazing!
