Golden Corral Corporation - Inverness

I love this place. They had no mushrooms yet, but when my wife asked for her, the waitress went out of her way and got something from the kitchen, just for her!

Good food and service. Do not go too often here because you gain too much weight. But it's delicious every time I go to Golden Corral.

Yesterday for late lunch paid $12.58 (with drink). I had a little of the many choices. And I have to say how buffets go, this one had a better than average selection. I had some fish, chicken, mini-burger, salad, potatoes, rice, 4 desserts, meat dew and several others. Like I just said a little taste of everyone. For more chicken. None of the items was mind-blowing or exceptional, but all were delicious with the exception of a dish. The pot roast. The meat was extremely delicate, but the taste was very out of plaster. Seriously after a bite I have sworn my raspberry tea in my mouth several times to remove the terrible taste. But with so many choices and volume, only a Vegas buffet would expect such a perfection in any court. So it was worth it? 4 plates of small selection and 1 dish dessert... sure it was worth it.

We ate there yesterday, very impressed by food, service and cleanliness. We started at 2 a.m. was pretty crowded after 3. Serve Prime Rib every day. (or the menu is always the same) Jo was very helpful and friendly. Do you have discounts for seniors or veterinarians?

Our experience at Golden Corral was pretty good although the steak even though it looked good and it was the cut I wanted it was dry. Not juicy at all. It was the first time I didn't finish a piece of steak. Everything else seemed well enough. The waitress was nice and polite and on top of things.
