Noodle Canteen - Invercargill

Love my noodle and chicken wings! good portion size, generous ingredients, good service and delicious food

I had a lot of laksa in my life span of nudel canteen whangarei, which is always super, and the one I tasted here (invercargill) like water with maybe a teesp of tomato paste? after my first spoon I couldn't take another. very disappointed, we were so happy when we found out that there was a nudelkantine here (from the north), the same deliciousness expected as we did in whangarei. unfortunately not the case and will not come back.

This place is downhill. earlier a regular lunch place, but no more. starting with 5 stars like other restaurants. but 0.5 stars with the loud fans and unwilling atmosphere, but it is a takeaway. then minus another star for the bad service we waited 25 minutes for our meal times and the place was dead, the guy at the time did not understand what we wanted and the order was not correct, it should be spicy sambal fried rice, but tasted from the earth bland. the kerl seemed inconspicuous and unwilling. eating was in order, but not great. someone ordered the sambalen fried rice and it was 90% rice and 10% chicken and sweet without taste. I ordered the honey-chicken horse rice, and it was in order. So minus 1 star. then the large issue of their food safety certificate was appropriately outdated. there is another 1.5 stars, not terrible, but not good at all.

Ordered honigh chicken with noodles and paid for extra huh, I got 4 medium-sized pieces that would have been the equivalent of a standard size without extra, had in different city and this was not at all similar, not crispy batter, soggy and wet, minimal sauce. I called and was told that this is normal and how they do it would rate a half-star if I could, 100% will not go back.

One of the guys had disappeared and so the one was left by himself. He ignored me and didn't take my order for 15 minutes. The other guy returned and it still took another 30 minutes to cook the food. No apology. They only had tissues instead of napkins. The Mongolian Beef had very little taste. Prices have just gone up and up at Noodle Canteen, not worth it.
