Restaurant Batzenhausl - Innsbruck

Despite being winter, we enjoyed the terrace one evening of sun. While we had a coffee and ate kaiserschmarrn we enjoyed the beautiful view of the mountains and the life of the city. It was very special!

The restaurant offers the well-known foods of the region from imperial marrn to backhendl. outseat places at the end of the pedestrian zone. the foods are good to average, without great surprises, friendly staff. a little long wait for it to eat.

Since the new takeover unfortunately no longer recommended. service at half-empty local overwhelmed (empty teller not without asking, not a single demand whether you might want to drink something else, whether everything is in order etc.) rumpsteak not only well done, but dust dry fried. grapefruitrisotto was a grapefruit with semi-finished rice - far from risotto. the fried garnels were good, but you can probably do little wrong. suppen from the bag (because at least because they have really faded and not tasted well). but unfortunately everything in all through service and kitchen performance a horrible evening. pity about every cent! never again.

Das Restaurant war ausgezeichnet. Das Essen war köstlich und der Service war hervorragend. Ich kann es nur empfehlen!

Found in the middle of town. You can sit well in good weather. The staff are friendly. The menus isn't big. Food tastes standard, no worse than in other central institutions. It's really nice inside, it's one of the oldest buildings in Salzburg. You come by, you can find better.
