The host was fabulous, and the restaurant is wonderful. The rooms are comfortable, and there's so much to explore, including a big pool and amazing nearby attractions. What more could you ask for?

Given the nightly rates, I was surprised at the lack of decent Wi-Fi. It was probably the worst Wi-Fi I’ve experienced, even compared to some very basic motels I've stayed at during my travels in Australia. The connection was so slow that it was essentially unusable for anything beyond the most basic internet searches. After a week of struggling with unusable Wi-Fi, they finally had their IT technician on the phone. Initially, they claimed there was no problem and insisted I must be doing something wrong. I’m not a tech novice, so after some investigation, they discovered a restriction on the number of users, and my download speed had plummeted to less than 0.07 Mbps. Once they lifted that limit, the Wi-Fi improved to a much more acceptable 13.0 Mbps. I really wonder why no one has complained about this before, as Wi-Fi is usually a priority for travelers. Within an hour of troubleshooting, the speed did increase to around 2.75 Mbps, which is certainly better than 0.07, but still not great. Be sure to ask them to check that you are not on the 'trial' user Wi-Fi setting if you stay here.

Excellent motel to stay. owners and employees are very friendly. I felt welcome at the moment I arrived. great meals and a very clean and impressive motel. I'm sure back and I'll recommend the accessible reef hotel to anyone I know well done. his big thumbs from me.
