We stayed for one night in a spacious room with a balcony. The dinner was excellent along with the great service. The owner Martin was so very kind to us. Thanks for a great evening.

We were staying at a B&B near the Gasthof Roessle and as there were not a lot of choices as to where to eat dinner, we decided to give it a try. It was the most enjoyable dining experience of our trip. Our German is very limited, but our waitress was fluent in English and was able to explain a bit about some of the food. The rolled veal and the schnitzel were both delicious and should be tried. They also served a very good house drink made from a sparkling pear wine. If you are in the area, you owe it to yourself to check this restaurant out. If you are staying for Saturday night, it is right beside the church. On Sunday morning before you continue your journey, enjoy the excellent music played by the church organist, and join members of the congregation for a glass of wine or beer at the Gasthof after the service.

I had dinner during 2 nights of my stay. When the weather is warm, the restaurant has an outdoor seating area, which is incredibly beautiful. It's wonderful to eat against an Alpine mountain backdrop. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. I enjoyed my meals both nights - the food was traditional and full of flavor. The prices were a little higher than I was expecting outside of a city, but the quality of food was worth the price.
