This restaurant is absolutely amazing! I could declare my love for it forever.

I don't usually eat fish, but I love sushi. This place offers many options for those like me.

We tried the Rising Sun Roll, Dynamic Roll, and Beef Spring Rolls. We also got a free dessert as part of a special, which was banana, Nutella, and rice crispies - absolutely delicious.

The service was friendly and efficient. I wish I could post photos, but I ate everything too quickly. I'll have to remember for next time.

I highly recommend this place!
This restaurant serves the best sushi in town! The atmosphere is great, the staff is attentive, and the sushi is delicious and reasonably priced. The deep-fried sushi is incredible, and they even offer dessert sushi, which is a must-try!
Visited Z Two, Douglasdale this passed Monday for the 1/2 price special. Restaurant was extremely busy got seated at the sushi bar not sure that making a booking would make a difference however as service from wait staff isn't exactly fast or attentive. The manager, Andrew, is quite hands on and does his best to ensure each customer is satisfied. Restaurant is small but sleek definitely could do with extra seating maybe outside seeing as the sushi special is such a hit.Sushi was fresh and there is a big variety to choose from, prices on a normal day are reasonable. I would visit the restaurant again, but on a less busy night. Specials:Monday 1/2 price on all plates except Brown platesTuesday Buy any 3 plates of the same colour and pay for 2Wed Thurs Sushi buffet R299 ppDaily lunchbox specials after 11am.
(Long review, I know <br <br After seeing many recommendations for Z Two in Douglasdale as a good option for sushi I decided to go take a look today to get an idea of pricing and options as their menu is nowhere online (soon to be on Zomato .<br <br We had 5 different types of springrolls, 4 savoury 1 sweet (we ended up taking a dessert springroll option as they were out of the chocolate brownie sushi that actually drew my interest to the shop in the first place every resteraunt has experienced a shortage of something before so I don 't hold it against them .<br <br Let me try keep it short...<br <br Value: Amazing! the portions were much much bigger than the average springroll size they were all at least the length and thickness of those weird 'jelly tube ' toys (pic couldn 't be attached but google it and you 'll know what I mean with the halloumi springrolls being even bigger.<br <br Service: Average, very slow. Friendly enough but nothing 'wow ', everything took super long to arrive but we didn 't mind as we weren 't in a rush. It was much more time consuming than it should have been considering deep frying a few springrolls is probably the fastest thing they could do in terms of food prep there and it took at least 40 minutes to get an order of 8 springrolls and a further 5 10 minutes for our dessert springrolls (kept in the kitchen longer so the icecream wouldn 't melt while we ate the savoury springrolls I assume .<br <br Quality taste: We had the Beef, Chicken, Vegetable and Halloumi springrolls and then the chocolate dessert springrolls (called the Kawasura roll . Our favourite was definitely the beef, it was so well cooked and flavored, I think any of their beef dishes will be to die for. All the savoury springrolls (except halloumi had more cabbage than anything else which was quite disappointing as cabbage is quite a bland flavour. The springrolls were excessively oily but not inedible at all, just a bit more oily than average springrolls.<br <br Allergens ingredients: They don 't include a description next to each item so when we ordered the halloumi springrolls we were (pleasantly surprised to find they had avo and mushrooms accompanying the cheese it tasted great but could have been a disappointment if we didn 't eat either of those two ingredients. The Kawasura roll came with ice cream trickled with a very tasty Bar 1 type sauce and the roll itself (described by the waiter simply as a 'chocolate springroll ' came stuffed with nuts and strawberries smothered in chocolate I loved it but my brother isn 't a fan of berries in dessert and found the strawberries overpowering, the nuts could also be an issue for those with allergies.<br <br Overall thoughts: It is a nice place, good food but when compared in terms of price and taste to my favorite sushi place (Yamazaki Yamakados in Cedar Square and Centurion Lifestyle Centre I definitely prefer Yamakados. Yamakados have a R165 anytime sushi buffet (all week, all day including fried rice noodle dishes, springrolls, soups and more so I would say they are better value and cater for more tastes as not everyone enjoys 'real ' sushi (the Z Two sushi discounts and buffets do not include springrolls or noodles or anything other than their 'real ' sushi and is only twice a week All this being said I think that Z Two has a wider variety of options (some interesting combos like a prawn condensed milk california roll and maybe if you compare prices per plate without specials taken into consideration it may even be cheaper.
