Small cozy place inside with several outdoor tables too (not recommended for very hot or cold weather).Excellent seafood and other specialties. Don't miss the fried calamari and the chocolate mousse.Very nice and casual but attentive service.
La Anita is located in the heart of the new Maschwitz entertainment area on Mendoza Street. The food is delicious, especially the Moqueca and the fish with Alcaparras. They also serve cocktails from a delightful tiki type bar in the garden.
We went there on a rainy day. Few customers meant we were able to have a relaxed lunch with attentive servers. Food is very good. We had Italian, seafood and Spanish dishes. All were very tasty and plentiful. Both desserts (tiramisu and brownie based one) were yummy. Worth the trip, you can walk around about 3-4 clusters of stores (fashion, accessories, home, etc.) and restaurants.
Pleasant outdoor seating on a cool spring Saturday. Tables for two so a solo no big deal, even though it was busy. Odd opportunist dog for company. Food tasty, service gentle, house wine good. 230 pesos for a stir fry and a glass of wine but envy for the battered fish fillets with mashed potatoes that arrived at the next table.
