The Mocha Nut Coffee Shop

I secretly call this place “Christian Girl Coffee” because it seems like every time I come here there’s a group of women having a Bible study. Indeed, the whole place gives off church coffeehouse vibes and I’m pretty sure it’s run by religious people. That being said, nobody here is weird or pushy about that stuff so I don’t really mind it compared to similar places I’ve been to.The staff here is remarkably friendly. They seem like they genuinely want to get to know their customers, and I always leave this place feeling better than I did when I walked in. The owner always stops by my table to ask me what book I’m reading. It seems like they’re really invested in being a part of the community. Coffee’s great too. The south side is lucky to have this place.

Lovely atmosphere to meet up with someone! Coffee was delicious and the staff was so warm and welcoming! I can’t say enough about how nice of an experience it was.

The Mocha Nut is a great place, I have been coming here more as it is a solid environment for when I am working or doing school, great service, good seating and great coffee!!

Good coffee, small selection of pastries, great place to post up and do some work. Local business, friendly staff, and actually some great merch if you’re into that! Cold Brew was good, and if you want decaf order an americano, great beans.Kid-friendliness: Big enough area where kids are welcome and not too distracting to other people.

Everyone is so nice and welcoming <3 always greeting me with a smile and helping me out when i don’t really know what to get. Coffee tastes amazing and snacks are delicious. 10/10 for service and food.
