Sakura - Indianapolis

Without a doubt, Sakura offers the best sushi in Indianapolis. My wife and I have been dining there for over ten years, and we've sampled other sushi spots in town, but none have matched Sakura in terms of food, atmosphere, service, or anything else. It's one of those rare places that you become completely hooked on, and you can never find a valid reason to eat elsewhere. Indianapolis is incredibly fortunate to have Sakura.

This restaurant is award-winning for a reason! While it might be on the pricier side, if you’re a sushi lover, you can’t go wrong here. The space is small and intimate, yet cozy. If you’re dining with more than just your partner, I recommend making a reservation. You’ll truly enjoy your experience! The food is excellent, the atmosphere is inviting, and without a doubt, it offers the best sushi in the city!

Sakura is perhaps one of the best authentic sushi places in this duck city Indianapolis. We came here on Monday and in contrast to what Anthony Bourdain's advice (never left Monday for weekend) Sakura's Koch Special Cuts (Omakasai) sashimi were absolutely freshest also in this Midwest town. Customer service was also very attentive at this packed Monday night. Very recommended

Fantastic sushi in the northern part of Indianapolis. While the exterior may seem a bit unpolished, the interior offers the warm and inviting atmosphere you’d expect from a cozy Japanese restaurant. I tried the Philly Roll and the New York Roll. I would have liked a bit more shrimp on the New York Roll, but it was still delectable. The staff was incredibly friendly, and the service was prompt!

We had some of the best sushi ever! The prices for the rolls ranged from $8 to $12, and the portion sizes were generous. Everything we tried was incredibly delicious, and the service was excellent!
