Mr Gyro's - Indianapolis

My family and went through the drive thru like we normally do when we visit. We ordered 3 cheeseburgers, 1 double cheeseburger, 1 onion ring, and 1 large fry. There were 2 cars in front of us that we waiting. Were used to waiting since it's made to order. The 2 cars in front got there food in a reasonable amount of time. We were waiting and waiting in our spot no food. After 16 minutes my husband backed up back to the window after the 2 cars behind us got there food. We look in the window and they are finally packing our food. After 24 minutes of waiting we finally got what we ordered. Once we got home it was just average taste for a burger and onion rings. The kids gave the fries above average taste. I personally think they forgot about us. Average burgers, fries, and onion rings should not take 24 minutes to complete at a fast food joint. Not a happy customer.

I go here every time I want a Vienna polish like from back home in the Chicago area. Tastes great!!

Their food is extremely hard to beat, but their on-line menu is very misleading. I was told to ignore the menu on the internet. They only have what's listed in the store.Please fix your internet menu to match what you actually sell.

Still my favorite gyro place around. Out of the way for me now I live in Brownsburg. Price went up considerably in past few years which is good. Too out of the way for me and the increased price lets me let go easier..Food: 4/5

The food is good but it’s definitely changed since the last time I was here. I’ve always gotten the Philly steak and cheese sandwich and it’s usually a good amount. Today when I went the first thing I noticed was how light the box was. I opened it and saw the sandwich looked child size. It tasted ok but not quite the same. I wonder if the change is because of cost. Either way I’ll go back again because I’ve been supporting them since 1999.
