I must say that this is an intelligent use of the space as a bakery/café. the room is open and bright with a lot of seating it has a magnificent view of the fair ave and is directly on the cultural path. the location is ideal and I hope this location gets a lot of traffic. I still work in the city and would often stop by needler to eat something and then get a coffee somewhere else while finding a place to sit. Now I can both here.
Sure. clean..big selection. far better than the homeless camp. called dieucks
Wasn't open when it said it would be and nobody was around to help. The location was also quite unclear. Hoping to revisit when able.
What a great spot to pop in and grab a coffee, snack or quick lunch right off of the Cultural Trail. It's also a terrific space to enjoy your selection from the Needler's salad bar while enjoying a coffee too. Lemon's Bakery and Cafe is located on Alabama plus you can also walk through Needler's to reach. It is a decent size cafe with a cooler full of beverages, a few types of sandwiches, salads and snacks plus Rosie's treats and a friendly barista. Low top tables and communal window seating is along the outside walls with the order/pay counter in the center of the cafe or pay upfront with your groceries. The bakery case has an excellent selection of delicious bakery items from the amazing Rosie's Bakery to tempt you. No need to drive to Zionsville, Carmel or Noblesville when you're craving Rosie's treats. Brownies, gooey cookies, cinnamon rolls, pastries, muffins, bagels and two sizes of cakes, just to name a few, are right here. I enjoy a coffe while I'm grocery shopping especially if I haven't eaten recently. So I walked back to grab a Pumpkin Spiced Latte and a Rosie's lemon bar (for home). The barista was friendly and had no problem adding extra pumpkin spice to my latte as requested. Reasonably priced latte, made quickly and as requested. The lemon bar was wonderful as always. The atmosphere was laid back and surprisingly quiet. Several people were having lunch, a few people were having business meetings and others just picking up quick to go items. No long lines to wait through. I'll continue stopping by for my shopping coffee and whenever I need Rosie's gooey butter cookies and lemon bars. Check Lemon's out! Especially if you work downtown.
Lemon's stands out primarily due to its prime location. Situated on the bustling corner of Mass Ave, the restaurant offers impressive views and great people-watching opportunities. Connected to a grocery store, Lemon's makes it easy for patrons to pick up any necessities while supporting local businesses. The menu features a variety of quick lunch options, making it a popular spot for a midday break. The bright natural light that fills the space makes it a refreshing change from the typical dark, cozy coffee shops. The cold brew is notably strong and perfect for a pick-me-up. Lemon's is great for those looking to avoid long lines, especially for commuters on foot or bike. While the pastry selection may not be a standout, Lemon's cheerful atmosphere sets it apart from other downtown bakeries.
