The food was great, but too expensive. It's Mexican street food, and it's delicious, but I don't want to pay for fine food when I eat street food. And don't bring your children. The children's menu prices are the same as anything else. Otherwise, both the food and the service were very good. Our server was very friendly.
The woman and I went for lunch. The food was great and we had the server all for us. The server was sweet. Wish they had some extra vegan options, but the few options we had were delicious.
This place is not the comfiest, but does have the best neighborhood tacos. Many of the chairs are unpadded metal, some are park bench style wood. But the tacos are delicious. There are maybe 6 to 10 beers on tap. The service is usually trying hard to please. Food comes pretty fast. It's not perfect, but I'll definitely be back.
I 've just about had it with this place. Yes, they make great tacos, but the service brings shame to their restaurant group. I 've been there 3 times so far, and of those 3 times, they 've messed up my order 2 times. Kitchen mistakes aside, the service is something to talk about. Their manager, Candace, is very nice. The other one, however, I think her name is Stacy ? is cold and rude. We 'll get to that later. I placed a phone order for shrimp tacos and after my husband picked them up for me, I noticed that they were fish tacos. Naturally, I called back and explained that there was a mix up and if it would be possible for me to bring back my fish tacos for shrimp tacos. The server who took my order, replied by saying, I heard fish. Thanks. So I asked her again if I could exchange my item, as it 's not what I ordered. She told me to hold and then transferred me to her manager again, not Candace, but another woman . I explained the situation to her again, and instead of being a nice and normal manager who would want said customer to come back in the future, she flatly said, That 's fine and hung up before I could tell her my order. I ended up having to call back to speak with the host because he was friendlier than La Mulita 's on-duty manager. Terrible. Getting a wrong order is frustrating, but what 's even worse is awful service.
