Istanbul Cafe - Indianapolis

We have visited Istanbul and can confirm that this restaurant serves authentic Turkish cuisine. It was excellent!

The mixed grill is an excellent sampler, perfect for two people and leaves enough for a take-home lunch. The zucchini pancakes were a unique appetizer. However, our waiter seemed to forget that we were seated outside, while other tables received service from different waitstaff.

We enjoyed a lovely traditional Turkish dinner. The waitstaff was excellent. We would have appreciated it if the owners had come out and spent some time with us, as the service was a bit slow. The food was authentic and deliciously Turkish.

Everything was excellent, wonderful wine recommendations that complimented the food choices. Staff was attentive, very helpful, recommendations and explanations were great! Food was simply scrumptious! A wonderful evening!
