English Ivy's - Indianapolis

I absolutely love this place. I came here on the recs from my neighbors and the food was fantastic! Portions are great (I ordered the three tacos-they came with salsa verde that was BOMB), drinks are reasonable, and the atmosphere is lovely. I think I'll make this a regular hangout. It's a great place to eat and pregame before visiting late-night events.

Absolutely my favorite local bar! The staff is incredibly friendly, the food is fantastic, and the atmosphere is welcoming. I won’t mention any names, but a big thank you to everyone who works so hard for our community. We really appreciate all that you do!

My favorite spot to enjoy a casual dinner and drinks with friends whenever I visit our old hometown of Indianapolis.

I visited for the first time during a break and ordered a drink, but I felt oddly singled out for my choice. The drink was poorly mixed, and the wine selection left much to be desired (I'm open to consulting for a modest fee!). I also ordered a Margherita pizza, which was strangely assembled (sun-dried tomatoes do NOT belong on a Margherita pizza—I'm available for consulting on that too!) and it had an unusual gritty texture. On a positive note, the beer from Sun King was excellent since it came straight from the can, just as the brewer intended. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and I enjoyed my conversation despite receiving a few offhand remarks about my suit. Overall, I found English Ivy's to be acceptable.

My partner got a taco salad loved it.. I got a sirloin dinner loved it as well! It was Sunday around 10pm and there was a good crowd. Great service, loved the vibe, and delicious food! This is our new go to spot.
