El Toro Bravo South - Indianapolis

I would give one star for cleanliness, but unfortunately there isn't much else positive to say about this restaurant. A coworker and I decided to give it a try since it was close to work. We arrived around 5pm and were asked if we wanted a table or a booth. We chose a booth and soon realized that the seats were uncomfortable. The waiter took our order and we waited a long time for our chips and salsa. When our meals finally arrived, my dish was not properly cooked. The jalisco chimichanga was supposed to be deep fried to a golden brown, but instead it was a soggy flour tortilla filled with shrimp and topped with cheese sauce. I tried to get the attention of a staff member for 15 minutes before giving up and just eating. No one came around to check on us or refill our chips and water. By 6pm, I finally flagged down someone for the check and expressed my disappointment with the service and food. No one said anything. When I received the bill, I was charged for both my meal and my coworker's. It seems they were trying to overcharge us. Overall, I was very frustrated and annoyed with the service. I will not be returning to this restaurant.

The service at this restaurant was unique, to say the least. The food was okay, but considering the price, I could have received better service, food, and drinks in my own neighborhood.

The service was quick, the ambiance was nice, and the margaritas looked amazing when they were served, but the taste was just average. We ordered the Texas fajitas and chicken fajitas, but they arrived without the sizzling and caramelization that we expected. The meat was warm, tough, and lacked flavor. This was my first time dining at El Toro, and I am willing to give them another chance before making a final decision. Maybe it was just an off night. I believe in second chances.

They had good food and friendly service and my friends and I had a blast with karaoke and the dj was ? definitely come here for a fun time.

I have eaten here when it was the pickle, the inside has had a make over to the plus. I got a taco salad, my wife a chimichanga lunch size. The staff was super friendly. I must say maybe not the greatest in comparison to similar restaurants but really not horrible either. I will revisit again
