El Jalapeño Mexican Indy

1st Review: I went here for the first time and I was very pleased with the food. My wife and I ordered steak tacos and they were delicious. The food was hot, and made in a timely manner. I will definately be coming back for more in the near future. 2nd: I went back again, and I was very pleased with the food and service!

I went there for lunch with my coworkers and was NOT disappointed. Their lunch specials were reasonably priced and came with large portions. I ordered a lunch special #10 and got an enchilada, tostada, and a quesadilla all for around $7. The waiter was kind and provided quick service. I'd definitely go again and I'd suggest you all do too!

Came here for lunch, but got here the same time as the church crowds, so they were pretty busy. Still got seated quickly, but service was a bit overwhelmed. The standard chips and salsa were ok, though the chips could've been livened up with a bit of salt, and perhaps a touch of lime. Still waiting for some place to figure out that chips dusted in Tajin would be a game changer. The order of choriqueso was pretty generous, though some extra chips would have been appreciated, as I didn't have enough to finish the dip. (They asked if I needed more chips, but forgot to bring them. For the entree, I deviated from my usual enchiladas platter and went with the chilaquiles. Solid move. Tortilla chips smothered in ranchero sauce and cheese with shredded chicken. That was something else! And portion size was generous enough that I took home enough for a second meal! Definitely look forward to returning.

Stopped by for dinner after a long day at work. I was very satisfied with my meal and my service. The girl who took care of me was very kind and would check in on me. I was tired and she was patient with me. I ordered the fajitas and had plenty to take back to my hotel. I also appreciated the large cups. I tend to drink a lot when I eat and usually feel guilty for all their running for refills. If I'm in the area again I will be back. I was tired after work and was able to relax and enjoy my meal.

Love it here! Went for a regular dinner and one of my guess told the server that it's my birthday. (My birthday was the next day) She asked me would I like a ice cream dessert or a shot of tequila? With it almost being my 40th, I went for a shot. She came back with a group of servers and they put a giant Sombrero on my head and cheered me on as I chugged the shot. I loved it.
