This is the THAT spot for home-eating food in naptown! from the vinyl tablecloth over the irresistible fried cookies and apple butter, this place.

Not quite a 4 stars, but certainly more than 3.5 stars. the cat was decent when a small gland and a bit over fried. the greens were the best.

Before I arrived indy, I did some research on dietary food restaurants and I read great reviews about this place. the restaurant is black and operated.

Used to go here before the fire and remodel...food was much better back then, but is still pretty good...service and atmosphere is incredible and even tho the food faltered...I am so pleased they were able to rise above the ashes .
