Clancy's Hamburgers - Indianapolis

I dined at this restaurant on February 20th, 2021. The prices were reasonable, the staff was friendly, but the hamburgers were dry and overcooked. However, the coney dog was fantastic. Unfortunately, they did not provide any napkins. When I requested my burger with no bun and added lettuce, I was pleasantly surprised to receive a lettuce "bun". This unexpected touch is the reason why I am giving them 4 stars instead of 3.

The Classic Coney Dog and fries were delicious, but the cheeseburger was just okay. The burger was dry and the bun was too thick, overpowering the other flavors.

Finding the garage was a bit more challenging than I had anticipated. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the setup of the restaurant. However, I ended up not dining there because it was very crowded and there was no available seating. Additionally, many customers were not following the posted safety protocols. I'm not a huge fan of fries, but I must say that the fries were well-seasoned and tasty. I also ordered a cheeseburger and a chocolate shake, both of which were good but not particularly unique in flavor. I was expecting more from the restaurant, but I would be willing to give it another try on a less busy day. The service was excellent, as the staff were friendly and accommodating.

Clancy?s is located in the garage food hall next to the xle bar, look for the red and white decor. You step up, place your order and they crank out your food pretty quick! The service is fast and friendly! The menu has a lot of options but not in an overbearing my food won't be fresh type of way. I went with a burger because I love them, I got the double cheeseburger with ketchup; mustard, mayo, pickles, tomato, and onion. It was hot and fresh plus not super salty, which is aweird thing that I watch out for in burgers. I loved it and polished the whole thing off. I decided to get a side of fries as well, Fri-yay! So crispy, fresh and seasoned to perfection! I had to try some clanceys dipping sauce which wastangy and perfect! I'll have to come back and check out some more items on the menu because if the other food is as tasty as my burger and fries, I'm in for a treat! What a great addition to the garage food hall.

Greasy, flavorless burgers. I attempted to eat it, but after 3 bites I threw it away. My boyfriend said the fries were decent, but for $45 just decent fries won?t do.
