Amelia's - Indianapolis

A common issue people have with oatmeal raisin cookies is, of course, the raisins, but thankfully, this cookie had none. Instead, it offered a wonderful balance of sweet and salty flavors. I found it hard to resist going back for more! As for finding the place, it was a bit tricky for me. If you have College Ave behind you and see Pivot across the street, just keep going, and you’ll find it on your right.

I just purchased the semolina sourdough, and I have to say, the woman at the counter was incredibly helpful. The bread is absolutely delicious—I’m in love with it! Having lived in Europe for six and a half years, I've been spoiled by the fresh bread there, so it brings me so much joy to find that Amelia's measures up.

You won't regret indulging in their sweet, oh-so-delicious pastries! The key is knowing how to pair their bread with other dishes. Their bread is far superior to anything you'll find in a grocery store. Don't miss out on this bakery—it's an absolute must-try!
