The tomato salad was surprising; the apple paired nicely with the tomato and the sauce it was tossed in brought a little saltiness to complement the sweetness of the fruit. The quesadillas were perfectly crunchy on outside, with seasoned and tender meat on the inside. I didn’t enjoy the chocolate cake as much as the other dishes, but found the top layer really nice. I would come back for sure next time I’m in Indy!
I went to this restaurant for an early dinner and it exceeded my expectations! The bar seating was open, but it filled up quickly. I would anticipate a wait during busy times. The food and drinks were excellent. The staff was very knowledgeable and gave great recommendations. I highly recommend trying the mango painkiller if you prefer a sweeter drink, it was delicious. The bolognese sauce was outstanding and the pasta was cooked perfectly. It's no surprise why this dish is a menu staple. The appetizer and dessert were equally impressive. This place is a hidden gem in Indianapolis.
I can't stop thinking about the delicious toasted cauliflower and cocktails at this restaurant. The flavors, textures, and presentation of the dish are excellent. The chefs really know what they're doing. I highly recommend coming here to enjoy the amazing food and drinks. It's always worth the splurge. I make sure to come here whenever I can.
Went during a weekday but was still crowded due to Devour Indy so there was a considerable wait. My dinning companion got the Greek salad salad, house-made pasta, and croissant churros from the Devour list. I got the gazpacho (too spicy for her but i enjoyed the brightness of the small tomatoes and sweet corn with with the undercurrent heat), another handmade pasta(with a creamybsage sauce), and key-lime brule (with the Calvin Fletcher coffee) and it was both a refreshing and delectable dinner.
Definitely overrated. Food was aite but not worth $114+tips. Oysters were fresh but tiny. Swordfish was cooked well but the sauce was way too salty since they put some chunky pieces of bacon in there. Pork belly was also way too salty. Lava cake is way too sweet. Ring bearer mocktail was the only thing moderate this evening and it was great. Kitchen charges 5% service fee, seriously? Oh and they had no candles for any birthday celebration so bring your own.
