Vue Grille & Bar - INDIAN WELLS

It's been a while since the last time we dig here. We are surprised that the dining room is only used for special events. All seats are now in the bar area, which is loud and does not match the price for this venue. The food service was disorganized. Our server was pleasant, but the kitchen and staff need training. We waited almost an hour for dinner. Three of six ducks were returned because they were served cold, including the $51 beef fillet. Two pasta dishes were cold and returned, as were the secondary dishes that were also cold. My husband decided to replace his fillet with a salad instead of waiting for another steak to be prepared. The pasta dishes were quickly reheated and diners said they enjoyed them as soon as they were hot. Two cattle short rib orders were very good, but came only warm enough to eat like the side vegetables. The one salmon order was good, but the risotto side dish was served only warm, not hot as it should be. We missed the quiet ambience of the former dining room. Paying these prices in a bar area filled with TV screens, a lot of foot traffic and noise is not what most customers who would expect to cause these costs. I am aware that, Post-Covid, many restaurants are not able to rent enough help to ensure efficient service. This is regrettable because it is safe to close many once popular restaurants. We will not return to Vue.

We enjoyed Easter Brunch. Thommy's food and service was excellent. Some live music would have made it perfect.

We were a table of 4 people I was in vain. we ask if we can sit outside, they let us wait for another 40 minutes. we spend too much money. the bill with the $75 per person and our drinks were $600.

We arrived at 6:30 and finally left at 8:15 with no entrees because the kids were exhausted. Spoke to the manager and supervisor who did not even offer bread (which I asked for). There was a wedding which was backing up the kitchen but why was this not planned for? We were celebrating a birthday and were on vacation so all around a terrible experience.
