Prices were far above the food quality. the crab roller was about 4 inches long, with mostly chips to fill the plate. this was not only a cheap portion for $33, but the presentation was not published. it was a good tasting, but nothing to be asked about. it feels like they are going out of business and the only way they hang is to increase prices. the server are amazing! best we had somewhere. they should be very proud of their personal, and the clever cute institution.
Pictures online do not just how original and romantic this place is. we had endive/sweet salad and mushroom soup to start and both were amazing. tagliatelle pasta was fantastic and scallops were good. the purée and others were great. scallops were kind of bland. cocktails were so goo, especially the gin colada. was able to get the bartender to share the recipe so that I could replicate home. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who visits the opposite. I can't imagine a better experience! thank you. pink cabana!
I've been several times. I brought my friend there. first of all there. I think the menu selection is very limited. we have the crabs and the moimosa enjoys. the server brightly eat ours and we never saw it again until he brought it. it was not so busy so we wait to order another drink, but never saw him. there will be another try, but not for one. not in the worth of $109
The Pink Cabana is lovely. However…… We made a reservation for 4 of us at 5:30 on a Sunday evening. The restaurant was was almost completely empty with servers just standing around. The VERY unfriendly Hostess told us that we couldn’t sit at one of the MANY open tables but had to sit at the bar. The other option she gave us was to sit around the fire pits. It was lightly raining outside and there were no chairs available at the fire pits. Just because we were having drinks and NOT dinner, she would not seat us at a table. Why? Do the servers not want to make money? Does the restaurant want to look pitifully empty? We reluctantly agreed to sit at the bar and a few more people came in the restaurant in the same situation as us-just wanting a cocktail. So that led to eventually many people crammed around the bar asking one bartender for drinks. A bar back then came to help but the whole situation was just awkward and unnecessary. We left after having one drink. Who’s to say if the Hostess would have just allowed people to sit at one of the many empty tables, we would have ordered more drinks, an appetizer, and then stayed for dinner? On their Open Table page, it says that there is a minimum $50 per person food and beverage charge from 5-8:30 pm. Terrible policy! It puts the Hostess in an awkward position by having to tell people about their ridiculous policy and guests getting angry and feeling awkward-and meanwhile, the restaurant remains empty.
