Fresh Scratch Bistro

I visited the restaurant on a Saturday night at 7 PM, and they close at 8 PM. While the food was good, we were disappointed when they told us that we could relax and finish our drinks, only to have them turn off the lights on the patio while we were still there. This felt very rude. It's no surprise we didn't see any other customers during our visit. Overall, I would rate the food a 2 and the service a 1.

I absolutely love this place! The food was exceptional, and the service was outstanding. Overall, I would give the food a 5, the service a 5, and the atmosphere a 5. Highly recommend!

We managed to save room for dessert and tried the sticky toffee pudding, which came with vanilla ice cream. It was the perfect way to cap off an incredible meal. Our server, Caitlin, was welcoming and very attentive to our needs; she did a fantastic job and made us feel special. We were pleasantly surprised when the chef, Brielle, trained in cordon bleu cuisine, came to speak with us. She is definitely a gem, and it’s clear that the food from her kitchen is crafted with love. Her expertise shines through in every dish. Thank you to everyone at this wonderful establishment for making our day even more special. We highly recommend this restaurant and will return whenever we are in town. We'll also be sure to tell our friends to stop by Fresh Scratch Bistro and Lounge when they're in Indian Harbour Beach. Make it your destination too; you won't regret it!

Regarding the food, the beet salad didn’t match its description. The strawberries tasted like they were straight out of a can, reminiscent of pie filling, and the walnuts were merely raw, which was acceptable given the sweetness of the beets. Overall, the combination just didn’t work for us. We finished it anyway, as we’re experienced in the industry and never send food back. We tried to balance the sweetness of the salad with the saltiness of our mushroom pasta sauce. The mushroom ravioli were quite salty, too. The chocolate torte was nice, but it would have been even better without the strawberry pie filling that accompanied it. The highlights of the evening were the flatbread appetizer and our server, Madeline. Unfortunately, the owner's attitude was off-putting and will prevent us from coming back.
