It's gotten dirtier, the staff is slow moving or unaware of you being there and forgets to bring you things. The food is the worst part, after waiting for close to an hour when it's a pretty empty restaurant, we get presented old, cold, partially re heated food, potatoes were dry, eggs were greasy, cheese wasn't melted, the bread literally smelled of fish and the butter and jam tasted so old it was concerning. An hour after being home my wife and I experienced stomach pain and terrible bowel movements. That kitchen must be the most disgusting place and I am never returning to Pink House Cafe again. Avoid it at all costs!! Dietary restrictions: This place is good if you're constipated it will clean you out.
The most ample and delicious breakfast. This cute little house really outdid itself. From the nifty decorations to the service to the food. We were promptly seated and given our food to which we cleared our plates. This is definitely a must have. I had the chilaquiles and my grandma had their pink house breakfast. Edit: we came back for dinner and it was just as delicious. Having breakfast again there the next morning.
Food was delicious! I had the Curry Chicken Salad sandwich on a croissant with the pink lemonade!
Waited 10 minutes to get drinks ordered, waited another 10-15 for them to arrive, another 10 for refills/main food order, an HOUR wait for food and the food was gross! Bacon tasted exactly like my dogs bacon treats (as another review had mentioned coincidentally). Fruit was rotten/going bad and came with hardly any fruit for almost $8!!!! Table next to us was constantly doted on while we were barely seen. I got food poisoning later that day from this restaurant and I believe it’s because of that bacon, as I wasn’t able to eat anything for the rest of the day due to feeling sick and unwell. Overall it took over 2 hours just to get brunch. Will never be back!
What a quaint, unique dining spot! Historical house with the home style touch of service. Chicken Ravioli with Butternut squash sauce was excellent. Landed in the flan for desert. Winner! Worth going out of your way for!
