Starbucks - Independence

The coffee shop is just average in terms of both quality and atmosphere. The customer service leaves much to be desired; the staff is neither friendly nor engaging. They seem rushed and often avoid interactions, which could be due to pressure to cut down on labor costs. Overall, it’s not a great experience.

I would give this place zero stars if I could. They messed up a regular drink order and refused to remake it unless it was purchased directly from them. This means I have to drive 10 miles out of my way to get a drink I had already bought from my doctor's office, which wasn't made correctly for my wife who is at home. I cannot recommend this place to anyone, especially since they are not a corporate location. It seems that being non-corporate equates to poor customer service.

"I visited the Hy-Vee at store 4545 on March 25, 2022, and I was very disappointed with the customer service. The cashier on duty at 4:00 PM completely ignored me while I was waiting in line and continued to focus on sticking coffee bags. When I finally asked if she was available to assist me, she said yes but claimed she was busy. I found her response to be quite rude."

Absolute misery. terrible experience. but I guess it would be easy to forget an order for 1 person 5 seconds after taking. if I stayed fully baked all day (not half).

Couldn't get anything because the 2 girls said they haven't had a break today so they didn't clean the machine and can't make anything. They were not busy at the time.
