Lao Peking Chinese - Independence

I've been ordering from this restaurant for years and years. I was out of their delivery zone for awhile but was so excited to come back about a year and a half ago.But these PEOPLE who work here? Omg they're the best. We order once or twice a month and we always get a few orders of crab rangoon(they literally have the best crab rangoon I've ever tried), some lo mein, fried rice, and some general tsos(they're also one of the only places that will actually make it spicy for me, even though it's supposed to be a spicy dish) and every now and then we'll add some dumplings or egg rolls or something.Well, yesterday, we decided to completely change up our order. I really wanted to try the empress chicken (it was so good, btw) and my guy wanted chow mein. They literally called us after we put in our online order just to check that we didn't make a mistake because it's different from what we usually get. That felt SO GOOD. Like they actually care about us. They're always amazing but that's just taking customer care to the next level.I will be a patron of this establishment as long as they're around. I already won't order Chinese from anywhere else but now it's for life.Thank you, Lao Peking for making great food and caring about your loyal customers.

I 've been going to Lao Peking since I moved here in 2007. Of all the Chinese restaurants and buffets, this is the only one for me! The food is always freshly made, hot, and delicious. Janet, the owner, is always friendly and hardworking, either at the counter, taking orders, or in the kitchen.When family comes to visit from out of state, they demand Lao Peking food. I especially recommend the All Day Carryout Specials meals. They have very generous portions.One negative, I miss the dine-in area. I have a lot of fond memories of great meals with friends, family, and colleagues alike.

We usually get the same thing and its really good, though the portion sizes like everything else in town have gotten smaller. Ordered several other items from the menu that we haven't before the lomein sp? was mushy : I also had issues with the amount charged for a condiment I called back the day after and they immediately fixed it. I honestly have no clue what the other reviews here are talking about, these people are always so kind and the food is hot no matter what. Absolute favorite place to order out from.

Very fast delivery, very tasty general tao's chicken.Also have their own delivery service food arrives quickly and hot and definitely fresh.?
