Food was ok yet it was quite diff than most, service was slow and did not speak english

I found a black thick hair in my salad just shook it off and moved on (my hair is blonde! Things happen I get it!Later on after I ate everything here comes an ant crawling on to my plate. Again didn’t make a fuss but won’t be back. First time and last time. Fuji in liberty might be a hole in a wall but I’ve never seen hair or ants ?

OH GOODNESS! I googled for days trying to find the best hibachi grill for my Asian boyfriend (picky about good food and it kept popping up Kobe’s in Independence. I just kept saying, “NO! I want to be in downtown KC or crossroads.” But all the reviews and suggestions pointed here. I live down the street so I just wanted to go somewhere different.Lo-and-behold THIS PLACE WAS EPIC! The environment is absolutely way better branded and decorated than anywhere else in kc. All the other hibachis looked so uninviting. This place had all sorts of good vibes. From the entry bar where you can sit for drinks while you wait, to the quieter sitting room and bar to its left, to the open seating area like a whole dining room in itself for those guests waiting also, and then of course, the hibachi dinner areas where everyone is sitting around a cozy table in comfy chairs or wall bench seating. The servers were all incredible. There was such a huge team we interacted with: the host upon arrival, the first bartender super kind and helped make great suggestions, the other host who took us to our seat, the women who brought everything to our tables and took orders, the chef full of fun energy! It’s a whole operation but doesn’t feel chaotic at all.Totally family friendly too! I’d bring anyone here. The food was excellent, the environment and decor was enjoyable, and everyone was having such a good time.It is a little pricey however. Probably a one time experience for a family bc that can get expensive. But worth it.Also, cocktails were only $8! Whaaaat? And so delicious. I’d go back just for that weekly.And apparently people do. We saw friends here and they are literally regulars.Love this place!A gem!And who wouldve thought the best in Kansas City metro would be here in Indep? Makes me feel so proud.10 stars all around!(And the boyfriend was satisfied too! ? Parking: Big parking lot all around the building! Easy as that. Kid-friendliness: I’d bring my kids here for sure. It’s a whole experience. They’d be entertained all night! Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible. Might be hard to maneuver through the front busy lobby as it’s not very large. That might feel bothersome. But great accommodations into the dining area.

Ordered fried rice to go online and received a call shortly after that they can't fulfill a fried rice order. Don't have it on the carry out menu if it's not available, please.

Always a great time here. Food is exceptional as well as the entertainment. Kid-friendliness: Kid portion is really about the same as regular. Kid is 10 and under.
