Independence Dairy King

This is the best icecream I have eaten in a while. I love the smooth vanilla with their crunch coat.

Independent choices here in Independence are few and far between, so this isn 't a bad choice if you make a point of going out of your way to support small businesses. The custard and sprinkled add-ons I tried were satisfyingly OK, although not necessarily at the level as more famous frozen custard venues in the Land, let alone nationwide (Ted Drewes in Saint Louis comes to mind). Still, a decent treat if you don 't mind perfunctory service that screams we 're just mailing it in because we know we 're one of the few choices close by. .

Oh my goodness. The smores sundae was huge and delicious. The ladies at the window were very sweet and courteous! So glad we stumbled onto your establishment. Keep up the great service and quality! A+

Best banana split ever what a treat it is to come here and have ice cream and custard and banana splits and their mocha shake is delicious too
