Fun House Pizza Pub - Independence

This is my favorite pizza place! I really miss the one that used to be on Highway 24 in Independence. I have fond memories of enjoying the munchies there while sleeping on two stools pushed together while my parents danced. My dad even delivered pizzas there to earn some extra cash!

I ordered three large pizzas for the warehouse staff I work with, and they were devoured in under five minutes! Everyone enjoyed them so much that they wished I had ordered more.

Funhouse Pizza has been a staple for 55 years for good reason. They consistently serve delicious pizza and provide excellent service.

I’ve been eating here since the doors opened in the 60’s and the delicious taste hasn’t changed a bit. The ovens are seasoned and cooks the pizza perfectly. I used to live 2 miles down the road, until 1985, when I moved 43 miles away, and I still eat here this pizza is that GOOD! I’ve never wavered from an Italian sausage with Canadian bacon and extra cheese. I’ve told all my friends, near and far about this outstanding pizza. Some have agreed and the others said they’ve never been but will surely go now . It’s the BEST pizza in the land, you’ll thank me after you’ve eaten it. You’re welcome.

Independence 40 hwy location is one of the original. Maybe the last of the them. The pizza is always great. The decor is quaint and benefits from having not been a densely smoky room for several years now. As a kid over 30 years ago it was a blast to ride the mechanical horses and see bands play on the tiny stage.
