Carrabba's Italian Grill Independence

I need to remember to ask not to be sat in the bar area! I love their food so I'll give the stars for that but the service was awful!!!!! The bartender was our server and she was so concerned with her 2 people sitting at the bar that we were totally ignored!!! The 2 people at the bar were regulars or friends I am sure because the language the server was using I am sure she wouldn't use around regular customers. She took forever to take our order and we literally sat and stared while she went on and on with her bar customers/friends! We finally received our food and she ran by dropping refills at our table and ran off. She didn't ask if the food was ok or if we needed anything. She went right back to talking with her friends . Somehow our food took almost 45 minutes to come out but the only other table sat in the bar came in 20 minutes after us and got their food at the same time. We finally waved her down for boxes and wanted dessert but she dropped our check and ran. We had to call her back to the table to order dessert. We had several boxes and had to ask for a bag to carry them. Service was slow and not friendly. Carrabba's has always been one of my favorite restaurants but service has gone downhill so much! This was the second time I've been sat in the bar area and had horrible service. I never tip less that 50% because I know how hard servers work. This time I tipped exactly 20% and wanted to tip less! I may need to find a new favorite place for date night with the hubby!

We were in a hurry and called for curbside. They seen our car as soon as we pulled in. They came out to let us know when our order would be done. We ordered the calamari and it was very good!

It was a beautiful evening. the food was good. it could have been warmer. it would have been great if it were hot. service was great. the parking was clean and seemed safe. the bathroom was not the best, but it was usable. vegetarian options: they had a veggie meal. they also have 3 different types of salates.

This is the worst Italian restaurant I've ever been. the best was the waiter. he was excellent that he even made me a rose of foil for my birthday. ok. so when we arrived that no one had sung, we were the only ones that were there, but it took them forever to put us. there were people who just cleaned up on us. So I wondered to sit and the lady says the hostess is a müller in the back dumping? eating was super disappointing. the captivating taste like glassauce that they buy in food store, the shrimp waste done the lobster ravioli was terrible mudy and tasteless. all we had was terrible except the salate. we spent $138 and I regretted every bit. the drinks weren't even strong, we had to send them back twice. we ordered top regal margaritas and it was nowhere near the upper regal . eating is not worth the prices. it is very expensive for eating under an erage . it was even hot. that was the worst birthday dinner of all time. only because I wanted Italian lol. it is not worth the money if as authentic Italian causation that is not

I brought her to james! we had dinner for two birthdays. we had a table of 11 and he did such a wonderful job! he knew everything on the menu when we asked and also the drinks menu. he cracked all night sweat and made the experience so much better! he also gave the birthday ladies a delicious cake and also roses for them made of aluminum foil! if this is not customer service, I don't know what is. this man needs a raise! as a family we always go for birthdays and in the last 10 years this was our favorites. I must add that was divine and the sangria was so delicious! best were- and services trade! great job james!
