Cafe Verona - Independence

This is a very nice restaurant. I would definitely eat here again. The wait staff are well-trained and courteous.

The food was excellent the service was great would go back again. Had the special which was eggplant other members of party had chicken dish. Salads were fresh great experience.

I have bene to Cafe Verona several times, mostly prior to COVID, where the food and service was delightful. We have since been twice after they reopened, and their food has been mediocre and the service has been disappointing. There was only one other table in the entire restaurant and still the waitstaff were not attentive. The food was dry and seemed like it was reheated. We are very disappointed because this used to be a local favorite.

A French chef is redefining Italian cuisine, and it was the best Italian dinner we've ever experienced — including our many trips to Italy. Plus, the Parmesan was freshly grated right at our table.

The mushroom pasta dish could have used more sauce. Other than that, everything was excellent.
