Baker Creek Bistro

Stopped in for breakfast. Set on the outside deck with I credible views of the Bow Valley and spectacular mountains! Good portions on the food. I actually did the Cub Breakfast which is meant for kids and it was very filling with egg, one slice of bacon, potatoes and one pancake and came with juice. Cute wood carved bear on the Pinetree by the deck. Awesome waitress who was from Scotland. Sorry I did not get her name but not only provided great service to us and very attentive but also gave us tips on what to see around the area. Wished we had booked a stay at Baker Creek Cabins.

Went for lunch as we've heard great things about the bistro and we weren't disappointed. The quaint dining room gave it a nice cozy feel, even when almost full. Service was excellent (and being in the service industry I was super impressed.)! The lunch menu is small but has everything you need. We had the creek burger and the buttermilk chicken sandwich. Both 10/10 in my books! I'm a sucker for hand-cut fries and these were great :)

The food here is pretty good. Beautiful location just a couple of kilometers from the Lake Louise town site. I didn't see much of the inside of the restaurant, although it looked quite nice, as I ate on the deck outside.

My family travels a lot during the year and we eat out even more! However, this is the FIRST time in my 40 years of life that I have ever come back to a hotel, looked up a restaurant on Trip Advisor and sat down to write a review. We ate at Baker Creek Bistro tonight after a long day of hiking with a 7 and 10 year old. We were all pooped out and ready for a good meal and on top of it today is my 14 year wedding anniversary.My husband made a late dinner reservation at 8:30 because of our hiking schedule during the day. We were greeted by the most friendly and personable host who ended up being our waiter too. His name was Zachary and he was WONDERFUL!He was kind, prompt, helpful and made our meal amazing.Our kids LOVED the pasta with Alfredo sauce and chicken and my husband and I got the ribs and the lake trout and shared the two dishes. The portions were great and the tastes were amazing.For dessert we couldn't decide so we tried all three. The cheesecake with the straw/rhubarb sauce was our favorite.This gem is a bit off of the beaten path, but SO worth short trip from Lake Louise. Oh my! GO!Thank you Zachary for a wonderful night and a great meal for our anniversary!

We did not stay at the resort but did have dinner at the restaurant. It was a great meal. The meals were excellent and the presentation was outstanding. I would rate this a 4 or 5 star restaurant. Even though we did not stay at the resort, I would consider staying here the next time we are in Lake Louise.
