Something that stood out was the Mayo is left out on the tables. Not really a good practice unless the put them bottles up every few hours which I doubt. Seems a little lazy and if that’s ok to do what else aren’t we seeing.
If I had a choice I would never eat here. Everything is made weeks ahead of time. Nothing is fresh. I've seen cook scrape mold off the top of food and serve it. Soups stay on the steam well ALL DAY. they are suppose to be swapped out after 4 hrs or you can get sick eating it. When the health inspector comes they all run around like a chicken with it's head cut off trying to label and throw stuff away that's old. But I guess it fits in where it's at.
Came in for lunch and we had Beatrice as our server, and she was training another server. She quickly took our drink orders and recommended an Arnold Palmer when I asked about flavored teas. I love an Arnold Palmer! We got the Potato latkes, amazing. Then the half sandwich with soup or salad. I had the pumpernickel bread with Turkey and the chili, it was very good. Service was awesome! Will definitely be my go to place for any future casino visits.
The salmon was dry, steamed vegetables were cold, chicken was bland. Over all an ok place to eat, but not for me a second time.
This is genuinely the only New York-style deli I've found since moving to Florida. They serve authentic pastrami sandwiches along with a variety of other dishes. While it may be a little expensive, remember that you're in a casino where many patrons are using their comp points. If you're gaming at the complex, it's an excellent spot for lunch.
