I was born in imatra and was no longer there for 54 years, so it was great to have a Finnish style lunch. service was very friendly, good value for money. loved Finnish style atmosphere. koti kalja was my highlight! oh and the Salmiaki ice cream yum!
A nice surprise awaited us around the corner (restaurant is actually on esterinkatu) very delicious home food lunch buffet at 10€ (weekly).
Super friendly service. great for lunch. would also be sweet for dinner / drinks. very house atmosphere. really love the outdoor terrace dining area. the lunch menu is small, but good, so make sure they are interested in the days offers before they go. highly recommended for a genuine Carmelian culinary experience at a great price, with a great atmosphere. I've been 5-6 times in the summer.
